Hi, I'm James!
The creator of Mathemy Mindset. Based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire in the UK, I have been a full-time Maths Tutor for 7 years, going solely online after the pandemic.
While tutoring, I quickly realised that many pupils had unique and individual needs, worries and concerns not just with their Maths but often in coping with their unique circumstances. Just as we all do, these were often wide-ranging including anxiety, ASD, ADHD, depression, and panic attacks to name just a few.
So I felt learners young and old needed someone in their corner, helping them to become the best version of themselves whilst also making sure they knew how to solve simultaneous equations, and so I created Mathemy-Mindset…

Our English Tutor
I am a kind and patient English tutor who takes a friendly and pastoral approach to learning. I lead my classes with enthusiastic knowledge to inspire and uplift my students.
I have a BA in English literature, an MA in creative writing and over 10 years experience as a tutor within the further education sector.
It is my goal to make English literature and language accessible and enjoyable for all. I can’t wait to see you in my sessions!

Hello! I’m Abbas, your dedicated tutor for Maths and Science. With a passion for education and a wealth of experience, I’m here to guide you on your journey to academic success.
I have been teaching and tutoring for over a decade. My background as a qualified trainer for teachers has allowed me to understand that is the tutor’s job to mould to the student’s learning style, not the other way around!
I firmly believe that every student can excel in Maths and Science with the right support and approach. With classrooms made up of 30 students, this tailored approach is impossible to get at school and so unfortunately, many students with huge potential get left behind. I’m here to help!
